"Poe-Schmoe and Crow" 

Dry brush and watercolors on 5" x 7" stretched canvas.

A more relaxed Poe at home, working on the alliteration of his new poem. After some thought, it was decided that the word "crow" just didn't have the same ring as the word "raven" and so birds were surreptitiously switched and no one was the wiser...till now.
